Canada Day Celebrations – Summerside

Monday, July 1st at 2:00 PM will mark the official opening to Canada Day Celebrations at Spinnakers’ Landing in the City of Summerside. Event organizers are announcing a change in venue from Green’s Shore Event Grounds to Heather Moyse Drive and Spinnakers’ Landing featuring the same great line-up of activities and entertainment which includes headline act, Alli Walker. This change is due to the current site conditions following heavy rainfall over the past number of days. City Officials are confident this move will not only allow the event to move ahead but also create a picturesque view of our waterfront shops, businesses, restaurants and overall Port Lands landscape. Please spread the word amongst friends and make Summerside your Canada Day destination this year! Note for Media: All Canada Day Programming, Events and Stage-Line Up remains the same. This advisory serves as a notice only regarding the location change.
