Boston Bruins Loan Marc McLaughlin To Providence
The Boston Bruins have loaned forward Marc McLaughlin to the Providence Bruins, it was reported Saturday.
McLaughlin, who has seen time in both the AHL and NHL this season, has collected two goals in nine games with Boston while putting up five goals and 10 points in 15 games for Providence.
A product of North Billerica, Mass., McLaughlin has been a member of the Bruins organization since turning pro at the end of the 2021-22 season. Over 23 career NHL regular season games, McLaughlin has found the back of the net six times.
With McLaughlin only needing two more NHL games to set his career high for a season, it is likely he will surpass that in 2024-25. A skilled forward who does damage around the net, McLaughlin will add a scoring presence to Providence's lineup for the time being.
