Beyoncé and 11-Year-Old Blue Ivy Performed Together During the ...
Blue Ivy Carter is truly her mother's daughter.
On May 26, Beyoncé treated the Paris crowd of almost 70,000 fans at her Renaissance Tour to a surprise cameo by none other than her 11-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. “This is my bloodline on the frontline—Give it up for Blue Ivy,” Beyoncé can be heard saying in one TikeTok video as Blue Ivy steps up next to her.
According to Beyoncé's mother Tina Lawson, the preteen only had “a little over a week” to learn the choreography for “My Power,” which she executed flawlessly in a sparkling jumpsuit, matching sunglasses, and with a completely unbothered expression on her face. She also performed with the dancers during “Black Parade,” per People.
"Last night I saw my beautiful grandbaby (11) dance in front of almost 70 thousand people," Lawson wrote on Instagram alongside a clip of the uproarious applause her granddaughter received. “She killed it and was as cool as a cucumber! Blue Ivy Carter ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ No Fear❤️❤️”
Lawson later shared another clip of Blue Ivy's moves, writing, “Yes I am a proud grandma❤️❤️ I am truly amazed by the courage that this brave, talented, beautiful 11-year-old exhibited last night! There were almost 70,000 people in that audience. She danced with professional dancers, grown folks, she did complicated choreography and moves that they rehearsed for months! She rehearsed and learned this in a little over a week. She was so smooth with it! So cool with it! She is the coolest most confident 11-year-old I know!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Fans were obviously impressed. “Blue Ivy invited Beyoncé to her concert,” one fan commented on a TikTok clip, while another wrote, “So nice of Blu to let B dance with her.”
Between this moment and her guest appearance during Beyoncé's January concert in Dubai, Blue Ivy is clearly well on her way toward becoming the greatest performer of her generation—and I, for one, can't wait to (try to) buy tickets to her future stadium tour.
