Black Friday is officially here, and Best Buy is offering notable deals during the event. You’ll find sales on TVs, laptops, headphones and more, many of which run through Cyber Monday. The retailer will be adding new deals through December 20th in store, online and through the Best Buy app while supplies last.

I frequently cover shopping events as a tech reporter for NBC Select, and I’ve been combing through discounts to find the best Black Friday Best Buy deals actually worth shopping. The iPad 9th Generation is Apple’s most affordable iPad, and can easily handle the tasks that I need most from any good tablet: streaming TV, loading cooking recipes and video chatting with friends and family. The speakers and screen are a little lackluster compared to newer iPads like the iPad 10th Generation and iPad Air, but the iPad 9th Generation costs significantly less than those alternatives.

This 2023 model is one of the best TVs for bright spaces because it gets very bright and has high color contrast. It uses mini-LED lights in the panel that display a more vivid picture across wider viewing angles than regular LEDs. Like most TVs we recommend, it has a 4K resolution display, which is great for gaming and multiple HDMI 2.1 ports for connectivity.

Hisense is well-known for making lower-priced TVs that don’t look cheap — this U6 Series TV is on sale for less than $500, but uses mini-LEDs in the display, a rarity at this price. Like other mini-LED TVs, it can get very bright and has high color contrast, making it a good fit for brighter rooms. This model has Google TV streaming built-in.

This model can be used to inflate car, motorcycle or bike tires, as well as soccer or basketballs — you can set the desired pressure yourself or use a preset. Be aware that electric air pumps are noisy, much noisier than using something like a bicycle hand pump.
