UPDATE: Power has been restored to the customers at 100 Mile House and Canim Lake.
Two power outages are affecting 300 customers in 100 Mile House and Canim Lake.
The first outage started at May 16 at 9:44 a.m. and is affecting around 221 customers in Mahood Falls, near Wells Grey Provincial Park. BC Hydro says that the cause was a “tree down across our wires” and that crews are on site. BC Hydro estimates that power will be turned back on around 2 p.m. today.
The second outage started on May 15 at 12:43 p.m. east of the Gustafson Lake Forest Service Road on Exeter Station Road. Around 122 customers are affected, with BC Hydro stating the cause remains under investigation. BC Hydro has assigned a crew to fix the outage.
