Barcelona are back in UEFA Champions League action on November 26 as they host Ligue 1 side Brest.

Hansi Flick's team are sixth in the league phase table with nine points picked up from four games so far in the 2024/25 campaign.

However, their domestic form has stuttered in recent weeks, with just one point from two La Liga games either side of the November international break.

That has allowed Real Madrid to close the title gap to four points with Los Blancos also having played a game less than their El Clasico rivals.

A clash with Brest will provide a real test for Flick's squad with the French club enjoying an incredible first-ever appearance in European competition.

Eric Roy's visitors have amassed 10 points from four games, putting them fourth in the league phase rankings, and they are yet to lose a Champions League game this season.

The big news for Barcelona is the continued absence of winger Lamine Yamal due to an ankle injury. The 17-year-old missed out on international duty earlier this month alongside an absence from Barcelona's last two games.

Defensive duo Andreas Christensen and Eric Garcia are back in light training, but only the latter is ready to return to the squad. Ronald Araujo is also still out.

Marc Casado is available ahead of serving a one-game La Liga ban, but Marc Bernal, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Ansu Fati remain out for the hosts.

Brest's Champions League form has been in sharp contrast to their results in Ligue 1 and they head into this game on the back of three successive league defeats.

Key duo Pierre Lees-Melou and Soumaila Coulibaly are out due to injury, but Massadio Haidara returns and Abdallah Sima is fit on the back of scoring three Champions League goals already this season.
