Culers were given a double scare leading up to Sunday's La Liga meeting with Real Sociedad, after it emerged that neither Dani Olmo nor Lamine Yamal had trained in the last session prior to the away trip.
As Dani Olmo battled a fever, Lamine Yamal worked away from the group in the gym and for this reason didn't take to the field at the Joan Gamper CT ahead of manager Hansi Flick holding a press conference.
While Olmo was brought on in the second half and struggled like the rest of his teammates to make an impact in a 1-0 loss to La Real, Lamine played no part in the action amid the club confirming an injury to the teenager an hour ahead of kick off.
"First team player Lamine Yamal sustained a severe right ankle contusion in last Wednesday's game against Red Star Belgrade," a statement on the matter read.
"Over the past few days, he has undergone treatment, but the discomfort has yet to subside. His recovery will determine his availability," it added.
At the turn of the week, it has emerged that the weekend took Another casualty in Robert Lewnadowski.
The Pole had a goal ruled out in Anoeta which caused teammate Raphinha to roast the officials, but he also has a back niggle that has forced Barca to contact his country's FA.
While it is believed that 'Lewa' could be ready to face Celta Vigo on November 23 when club soccer takes over the calendar again, Lewandowski should miss Poland's upcoming Nations League fixtures against Portugal and Scotland over the next week.
Struggling for top form under Xavi Hernandez during a trophyless season last term, the veteran has returned to his best amid a reunion with former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick.
He currenty leads Spain's goalscoring rankings to try and reclaim the Pichichi award, and is also joint first in the Champions League tying Bayern's Harry Kane, teammate Raphinha, and Sporting Lisbon ace Viktor Gyorkeres.
