Waterloo Regional Police Locate Female After AMBER Alert is Issued

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police has located a missing female after issuing an AMBER Alert.

On August 5, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m., police responded to a residence in the area of Strasburg Road and Rush Meadow Street in Kitchener for reports of a break and enter and a missing person.

As a result, WRPS issued an AMBER Alert in efforts to locate the missing 14-year-old.

At 8:00 p.m., The Ontario Provincial Police located the female out-of-region safely.

A male has been placed under arrest and charges are anticipated.

The investigation remains ongoing.
