Aziz Behich to join Al-Nassr on loan

Subway Socceroos left-back Aziz Behich will join Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season following the conclusion of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™.

Behich is currently with Australia at Asia's premier competition with his side preparing for a Quarter Final clash against Korea Republic, a rematch of the 2015 Final where the Green and Gold claimed a famous 2-1 extra-time win.

The 33-year-old has played every minute of the Socceroos' four matches so far this tournament and his impressive form has caught the eye of the team, led by superstar Cristiano Ronaldo who lie in second place on the ladder.

Behich, who has 68 caps and two goals for his country, returned to the Isuzu UTE A-League with Melbourne City on a two-year contract in August last year after a decade abroad in Europe, and now embark on a new journey.

With City Behich scored one goal and registered two assists in 19 matches across all competitions.

In addition to Ronaldo, the Riyadh-based club also boast the likes of former Liverpool and FC Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane, ex-Manchester City centre-back Aymeric Laporte as well as Marcelo Brozovic previously of Inter Milan.
