'Sweet summertime memories': 7-Eleven offering free slurpees

Popular convenience store 7-Eleven is offering free small slurpees on Thursday across Canada.

Members of its rewards program can also get wings for just 71 cents and 711 bonus points with the scan of their free slurpee.

The retail and gas station brand has dubbed Thursday as 7-Eleven Day, with it being the 11th day of the seventh month.

It brings back good memories for 7-Eleven Canada vice present and general manager Marc Goodman, according to a news release.
